The Victorian Pride Centre, situated at 79-81 Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, Melbourne, is Australia's first purpose-built LGBTQI+ community hub. Developed by Brearley Architects & Urbanists (BAU) and Grant Amon Architects (GAA), the seven-story building encompasses 6,200 square meters, providing spaces for various LGBTIQ+ organizations, including health services, advocacy groups, and cultural venues. Designed with inclusivity at its core, the Centre features a distinctive facade of interconnected tubes, maximizing urban engagement and creating a welcoming environment. Funded by the Victorian Government, the City of Port Phillip, and philanthropic contributions, the Centre stands as a testament to Australia's commitment to equality and community support.
